Guests can also stay in the original homestead, where meals are served as they have been for generations on this historic property.

The Stephens family have worked this land for over 100 years and Cedar Glen’s visitors, including children, are welcome to take part in some farm activities, including egg collecting and milking. Horse riding, bushwalking, birdwatching, swimming and tennis are also popular, but most of all guests enjoy relaxing, as they take in this unique south-east Queensland tourism and farming experience on the edge of the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The Lost World Valley is just as its name suggests – a secluded pocket of country, with mountain streams, the pristine Albert River – popular for fishing and a cool summer dip – all bordering World Heritage Lamington National Park. It’s an opportunity to immerse in this special Queensland farm and Scenic Rim tourism experience. Please note: this wilderness section of Lamington NP has no formed walking tracks. It is ideal for those with bushwalking experience. The National Park does have well-constructed tracks to the north, accessed via Canungra for first-timers, who’d like to explore this area of incredible scenic beauty, including numerous waterfalls and rainforest. Birdwatching is also popular.
